You may have already seen some of the recent activities by Parisian graffiti writer and artist, Horfee on his recent visit to our fair city. And while there have been number of tattoo’s and a rare gallery show, I’ve only seen a couple of his signature pieces of outdoor work. While there was an unfortunate bit of miscommunication on an original piece (which was also on this wall) we’ve finally been granted a full fledged piece from the PAL Crew member, along with local, Lazee. One of the exciting things about graffiti, is the unpredictable nature of what a writer or artists is going to present each time they paint. Horfee is the perfect example of why I enjoy this factor in graffiti, while his style remains (respectably) the same, there are completely original elements in each piece so it never gets tiring or flat. Luckily, we have been exposed to one of these said piece’s and it’s a bit of a stomper. The colours, the looseness, the 3D elements and that signature style, we won’t be seeing anything this good, this far from the coast any time soon.
